The Iron Goddess Foundation is a nonprofit organization. It was founded to help women that have had the courage to leave abusive relationships get back on their feet. Our goal is to assist with security deposits, first months' rent, food, counseling and anything else that would help them start over.
Our Story
There are so many women that are silently struggling and are unable to leave their situation for various reasons. Those that are able to leave often times are not able take most of their belongings with them or do not have the financial means to start over. We know the strength and courage it takes to leave an abusive relationship. Our foundation consists of 4 female board members each of which understands what these women are going through. While everyone's story is different, they all have one thing in common: THE LASTING EFFECTS. Their story doesn't end once they leave, in fact many times it gets worse. While we can't help ease their pain, we can try and help make the transition just a little bit easier.
